A study from Stanford Digital Economy Lab highlights a notable decline in job opportunities for young workers in AI-exposed occupations since late 2022.

The study, using data from Automatic Data Processing (ADP), reveals that early-career software engineers, aged between 22 and 30, have experienced a marked decline in employment. Across these sectors, the youngest workers in the most AI-exposed jobs have seen employment decline by 6 percent, whereas jobs with lower AI exposure have experienced growth.
